Doug --

You may not remember me but I'm the film professor that met you (and, separately, your wife and kids -- on a playground in Cataumet with my own son this summer. I'm delurking on all the blogs I read -- which includes this one, which I find fascinating -- as part of The Great Mofo Delurk. And I just wanted to say, Keep it up! I'm fascinated by what you have posted here and would love to hear more.

Hi,

Yes I do remember you and it's nice to hear from you.

As artists living and working on Cape Cod we're used to changes in our lifestyles from on- to off-season and I found that writing on the blog doesn't fit in during the summer (nor lurking or delurking.) I hope to get back to it when my fingers are too cold to clench the palette and I'm not frantically trying to paint the last of the low-angled light this time of year.

All the Best!,

Lovely stuff. You're bringing back memories of my own childhood spent on Stoney, and building those dams :-). Your paintings are *lovely*. I remember your house too.....
